I used Gunter Schroder recently. He prepared a brilliant report, and dealt very clearly with the issue of Ethiopian monitoring of the diaspora. I haven't used him yet in an Eritrean appeal. I do know that he's been unwell recently, though, so it's sensible to give him some extra time to write the report.
Re: using the Determination, contact Elizabeth Millar (emillar@elizabethmillar.org.uk), who was the solicitor in the case. But if his report is as detailed and fully sourced as the one he did for Elizabeth's client, his expertise will speak for itself ---------
Can anyone recommend an expert, preferably an Egyptian lawyer, who could authenticate some Egyptian court documents
Urgently….
You could try Muntasser El Zayat – he is a lawyer based in Cairo. He did a good statement for an Egyptian appeal for me (risk on return arising from political activities) – he didn’t authenticate any documents for me, but you could ask him:
002 (023) 902664 – this should be his office number in Cairo – may be best to speak to him first. His English is not very good (any statement I think will be in Arabic so will have to be translated), but I think he will be able to understand enough to know what you’re asking. His e-mail is monty@link.net
Let me know if the number or e-mail doesn’t work.

We have just received a report from a psychiatrist who made contact with a colleague in Jamaica following our inability to get any useful info on mental health services in Jamaica.
Her name: Lorna Duggan lduggan@standrew.co.uk
Also met a psychiatrist on Saturday through MJ, Hugh Grant-Peterkin hughgp@gmail.com
He works at the institute of psychiatry where he thinks the head, Dr Robin Murray, may hold a visiting chair in psychiatry in Jamaica. If you get any joy with Dr Murray could you let me know as we have not had time to contact him as yet on our case but will likely need to do so fairly soon.

Also, it may be worth contacting the ERRC (errc.org) - they should be able to comment on (i) how likely it is that Kosovan Roma can speak Roman; and (ii) conditions for Kosovan Roma nowi. (By the way , I would also ask client whether he/she can speak Serbo-Croat; he/she should be able to if Romani from Kosovo, in my experience, unless very young). l
Would be grateful if anyone could recommend a psychiatrist/associate specialist or other who specialises in trauma or women's health in the Newcastle or surrounding areas. Please post any suggestions directly to George Vickers:
Without hesitation – Dr. Helen Sykes is a wonderful contact who can more than likely complete initial reports where instructed or refer on if necessary:

I was referred to Daniel Balint-Kurti [danielbalintkurti@yahoo.co.uk] from Chatham House. The case concerned Mental Health facilities so i am not sure whether he could deal with your case.
